2 Para is a squad based around small unit tactics, including (but not limited to) airborne operations.

WWII-Online:Battleground Europe is an online multiplayer simulation of World War II during the Battle of France.  Allied forces made up of British and French units face their German counterparts in a dynamic campaign.  Compared to most other Multiplayer games, WWIIOL strives for realism in scale and mechanics, rather than a click and shoot style first person shooter.

Players can play as infantry, or fly aircraft, drive tanks or man Anti-tank/AA guns.  Players are led by in-game High Command Officers who dictate the overall strategic play over the course of the campaign, which can last up to 2 months.

The Allied side (of which 2 Para will of course be a dedicated member) have struggled recently through falling numbers, morale and a lack of teamwork.

2 Para has been created to help reverse this trend, to bring back small, squad sized operations and take control back of the battlefield one building at a time!

There are arguments for larger squads being more effective in the long term, however I feel a larger squad has unwieldy elements and can lead to a waste of valuable resources when attacking or defending.  I believe that smaller units working closer together can achieve those small aims, capturing that tricky CP, blowing a defended FB, repairing a bridge etc that can make the difference to the bigger picture.
